Hailing from the breathtaking landscapes of North Lake Tahoe, CA, the Americana/roots rock band Dead Winter Carpenters brings their passionate energy to each performance. With 15 years of experience as of 2025, this group is committed to redefining string music, as recognized by the Portland Metronome. Their progressive sound shines in their latest release, “Sinners ‘n’ Freaks,” a five-song EP celebrating their musical journey.

Their fourth studio project, “Washoe,” features original songs co-produced with Zachary Girdis and recorded in the famous Sierra Sonics Studio. Previous albums include their self-titled debut, “Ain’t It Strange” (2012), and the critically acclaimed “Dirt Nap” (2014).

Dead Winter Carpenters is celebrated for their dynamic live shows, selling out venues and sharing stages with amazing artists such as Jason Isbell and Greensky Bluegrass.
