This film chronicles the historic 2024 removal of hydroelectric dams on the Klamath River, marking the largest dam removal project in U.S. history. Witness the remarkable return of salmon, the healing of habitats, and communities reuniting with a restored river—an outcome of years of collaboration among tribal nations, government agencies, and conservation partners.

About the Film:

Presented by the Consulate General of Switzerland in San Francisco, this series explores water as a lifeblood, connecting life and technology. The accompanying exhibition features works from various artists, highlighting photography, sculpture, installation, and more, inviting you to engage with water's hidden role in our lives. Curated by Amy Kisch, it promises an immersive experience combining art, Indigenous knowledge, and climate activism.
