Topic: What's the fuss about fibre?
After years of protein taking centre stage, fibre is stepping into the spotlight. Once mostly associated with digestion, fibre is now being linked to the microbiome, gut health, satiety, blood sugar control, and even the next wave of food innovation. But as fibre becomes a trend, the conversation also becomes more complex: not every fibre is the same, not every claim is meaningful, and “more” is not always better for everyone.

In this FoodHack Zurich event, we want to unpack the science, hype, and opportunities behind the fibre boom in an accessible and engaging way. Together with people from food tech, health, research, start-ups, and everyday life, we will explore what fibre really is, when it can be beneficial, when it may cause discomfort or confusion, and how food innovators can create fibre-rich products that are both meaningful and genuinely good to eat.

This meet-up is happening at the same location as the foodsavermarkt, taking place in the square outside starting from 4pm. So make sure to arrive early to check this out and buy some fresh produce and save it from going to waste! Payment possible with cash or card.
