A new series of workshops at the Circular Workshop—How to Do Without a Handyman—was created in collaboration with the SheBuilds project. Learn how to drill, join wood, and fix things. No waiting, no explaining, no “I’ll do it for you.” This workshop series directly challenges the concept of the “handyman” and shows that you simply don’t need one. All you need are tools, knowledge, and a little courage. And that’s exactly what we teach in our workshops.

In the twelfth installment, we’ll demonstrate once again that replacing a lock, hardware, and cylinder is no problem at all, because practice makes perfect. We’ll learn how to disassemble the hardware and how to replace the lock and cylinder. We’ll discuss the different types of parts available and where to go to get new ones.
