Kristi Himmelfärds Sweat Lodge

Join us for a sacred gathering at Skutesjön as we celebrate the Ascension time! Our foremothers invite us to connect with the elements in a family lodge setting, where we purify ourselves, engage in prayer, and explore our inner essence.

In the lodge—Mother Earth’s womb—we embrace the elements: earth, water, fire, and wind through our prayers and songs. We honor various traditions and enter as a united family, listening to our essence and guidance. On this special occasion, we wish to open the lodge to purify body and soul, emerging reborn in the light of Christ. 🔥

• Fire Ceremony: Join us at 08:30 for the fire ceremony. Please arrive no later than 09:30 so we can open the lodge together.
• Lodge Entry: Expect to enter between 10:00 and 10:30. Once inside, we step out of time and anticipate finishing around 12:00-13:00.
• Refreshing Dip & Breakfast: Afterward, those who wish can enjoy a refreshing dip in the beautiful Skuteån and share a nourishing breakfast in community. ✨

On the evening prior, we will also host a circle of song and cacao, and you are welcome to join either event separately or both! Cacao Circle Link

Contribution:

• 450 SEK (includes breakfast)
• Package price: 1200 SEK (for those wishing to join the cacao ceremony, stay overnight, and participate in the lodge)

Practical Information:
Bring a sarong, towel, water bottle, and optionally an item for the altar and some fruit to share with everyone post-lodge.

Facilitators:
The lodge will be hosted by Odara & Mimi, who have studied the tradition with Ana Maria Sierra Paz along the Red Path. After holding lodges for women, we are now excited to open this space for the whole family. We look forward to praying together, honoring our ancestors, and deepening our connection with the elements and our gratitude for the Earth. 🌍💚
