NUYORICAN BOWERY SLAM

Join us for the famous Nuyorican Bowery Slam at the iconic Bowery Poetry Club! 🏙️✨ Located at 308 Bowery (between E. Houston & Bleecker Streets) in Manhattan, this event is a highlight of the poetry scene, and we're thrilled to bring it to you as part of the Nuyorican Poets Café's 'Nuyorican-Struction'.

Hosted by JRose & Luna Rosa, this vibrant slam night features:

• In-person poetry slam every Monday evening!
• Sign-up for performers based on a first-come, first-serve basis (after doors open at 6:30 PM) ✍️
• Tickets are just $20 if purchased in advance or at the door! 🎟️

Event Highlights:

• Poets will have 3 minutes to perform one original poem per round, with scores ranging from 0.0 to 10.0, given by randomly chosen judges from the audience.
• The top poets from the first round move on to the second round, competing for the chance to win $20 cash and an invitation to the monthly Final Friday Slam at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater! 🏆
