Vystoupily ze stínu: Jitka a Květa Válovy

This lecture from the series Stepping Out of the Shadows, which profiles six women who significantly shaped Czechoslovak art in the second half of the 20th century, will focus on sisters Jitka and Květa Válová.

Their lives and work are so intertwined that they cannot be separated. We will follow their shared beginnings, different personalities, sources of inspiration, and journey from Kladno to wider recognition on the art scene. The lecture will be given by art historian Markéta Čejková.
