2nd Friendsgiving Potluck Revco 2's Blind Draw

🥂 Join us for our 6th Blind Draw Revco Doubles Tournament, Friendsgiving Style! Whether you're here to play or just hang out, it's going to be a fantastic day!

We're organizing a potluck for this tournament! We’ll provide the turkey; we ask you to bring your favorite sides. Want to contribute? Check out the post below for the Google Sheet and let us know what you'll bring! As a thank you, you'll get $5 back from your entry fee. Don't forget to mention any allergies in your comments!

After 6 rounds of pool play, we'll take 30 minutes to enjoy our Friendsgiving meal together. A huge thank you to everyone who completed our survey! Your feedback is invaluable. If you haven’t filled it out yet, please do so here.

Registration Fee: Pay $40 to register — and you’ll receive $10 back when you show up to play! Venmo @gsunseri. This helps us ensure larger payouts while encouraging commitment, as we've had many no-shows that affect our efficiency. If you cancel 24 hours in advance, we’ll refund you 100%! Please RSVP by Nov 10th as we need to plan for food.

We’ll cap registration at 40 players (or 60 if we can arrange more nets). Players who have paid will be tracked on a separate post below.

Format Details (Buckle Up!):

• Arrive by 8:30 AM to set up in our tent village and grab some breakfast. A warm-up drill (Kings/Queens) will start at 8:45 AM, followed by the Players' Meeting at 8:55 AM.
• 6 rounds of pool play games will follow, with sets to 21. You'll receive a new partner each round!
• Playoffs will feature upper and lower brackets with randomly gestated seeds based on previous performances.
• A Redemption Rally Playoff Bracket will also be available!

Prizes:

• Upper Bracket: 1st Place: $300, 2nd Place: $150
• Lower Bracket: 1st Place: $100, 2nd Place: $50
• A special prize for the most Style Points, awarded for creative plays! 💃
• A sports photographer will capture action shots of all players, which will be shared after the event.

Important Rules:

• Usual Revco rules apply — remember to be nice and respectful!
• Block counts as a touch, and open-hand receives are allowed if they are clean.
