🤖 AI in the SDLC: From Experimentation to Real-Life Delivery Impact

A live event by the Equal Experts North American team in New York City

🚀 About This Event

Many engineering teams are already dabbling with AI in software delivery — yet the results are often scattered: isolated tools, one-off prompts, and outcomes that vary wildly from one engineer to the next. The real gap isn't access to AI; it's the absence of a delivery model where AI is embedded into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a way that's repeatable, governed, and grounded in strong engineering practices.

The Equal Experts North American team will showcase what it truly looks like when AI becomes a core part of the delivery system itself — not just a productivity shortcut bolted on at the edges.

Through a guided, end-to-end live demo, attendees will see an agent-supported, shift-left delivery workflow in action — illustrating how AI can assist teams from early feature intent all the way through to build, quality assurance, and ongoing code context, all while keeping engineers firmly in control.

🎯 Who Should Attend?

  • 👩‍💻 Software engineers, tech leads, and delivery practitioners working in modern software development environments
  • 🏗️ Engineering managers and product leaders responsible for how their teams build and ship software
  • 🔬 Teams already experimenting with AI who want to understand how it integrates into real, production-grade delivery workflows

🎤 Speakers

Andy Vays — Technical Principal, Equal Experts

Andy brings over 15 years of experience spanning software engineering, enterprise architecture, and large-scale digital transformation. At Equal Experts, his focus is on applying AI pragmatically across the SDLC to generate genuine delivery impact. He has led complex CRM, billing, data, and cloud modernisation programmes for both high-growth and enterprise organisations. Prior to Equal Experts, Andy spearheaded major platform transformations at Rent.com and co-founded an AI-focused startup aimed at accelerating digital transformation. His current work revolves around agent-driven delivery approaches that help teams move faster, reduce risk, and improve quality — with an execution-first mindset that transforms AI from experimentation into repeatable, real-world outcomes.

Chris Rooney — VP of Engineering, Equal Experts

With more than 25 years of industry experience spanning virtually every major vertical, Chris is a seasoned authority across all areas of the SDLC. He has recently been leading delivery assurance for complex, large-scale transformations at major clients — responsibilities ranging from defining architecture to engaging C-Suite stakeholders to ensure outcomes remain realistic and business-critical. He is currently working internally to define Equal Experts' AI approaches to real business challenges that can be meaningfully improved through Gen AI tooling.
