Artist-Led Workshop: Urban Landscapes En Plein Air

Join us for an immersive day exploring the beauty of urban landscapes in this workshop led by Josiah Hanchett, an award-winning artist and architectural designer from Ghosthouse Fine Art Studio.

🌆 Inspired by The Matter of Awe: Landscapes in Art, participants will engage in urban sketching en plein air on the museum’s terrace, where you can capture the local cityscape with ink and watercolor.

🖌️ During this workshop, you'll learn to:

• Break complex scenes into simple geometric shapes,
• Apply the three essential rules of perspective,
• Use watercolor washes to add depth, light, and atmosphere.
