Hosted by a group of Portuguese grandmothers:
Learn embroidery
Eat homemade cake and biscuits
Be told you work too much
Leave knowing you deserve a break.
A Manual Break, granny approved.

What this Saturday will look like:
A warm welcome at the door: tea, biscuits and a familiar question: “Have you eaten?”
A short introduction to A Avó Veio Trabalhar and the grandmothers hosting the experience
A slow embroidery workshop, guided by our grandmothers
Learning one stitch at a time
Homemade cakes, tea and small Portuguese comforts throughout the afternoon
Time to stay, sit, chat or simply do nothing
Small moments of care, conversation and grandma wisdom
A handmade piece to take home, in case you forget you’re allowed to stop
