🚴 Bike Ride from Marina del Rey to Redondo Beach around LAX Airport & Lunch

Join us for a scenic beach bike ride along the beautiful coastal paths, including a ride around the iconic LAX Airport! 🌊

E-bikes are welcome to join this adventure!

We'll embark on a 10-mile extension from Imperial Highway to LAX, taking in stunning views as we ride along the north runway. Check out the route here: Route Map. 🚴‍♂️💨

IMPORTANT: Our bike ride kicks off at 9:00 AM.

Qualifications:

All riders who are comfortable cycling on roads and paths for 40 miles round trip at a moderate pace of 12 miles per hour are welcome. Expect the ride to last about 6 hours, including a lunch break. 🕘

Helmets are mandatory for all participants! 🪖

Meeting Point:

Arrive by 8:30 AM to park and prep. Meet Louis at 8:45 AM at the first row of the Dock 52 parking lot for a brief safety talk and introductions. We will leave promptly at 9:00 AM. 📍

Lunch Stop:

We'll take a break at Quality Seafood Fish Market located at 130 International Boardwalk, Redondo Beach, CA 90277 for a delicious meal! 🍽️

Guidelines to Follow:

• RSVP: If you can’t make it, please update your RSVP to "No".
• Bicycle Maintenance: Ensure your bike is in excellent condition with properly inflated tires.
• Safety First: Adhere to standard hand signals and obey all traffic rules.
• Flat Tire Preparedness: Be ready to change your own tire tubes and bring 2 spare tubes, levers, and a small pump or CO2 cartridges. 🔧🛠️
