Join us for an exciting book launch event hosted by Punctum, featuring the dual-language (Spanish & English) book La Bestia Civil: 21st Century Urban Space Epics & Rhymes by D.L. Jónsson. 🎉 Dive into the epic narratives that explore the grit and humor of culture shock through wild tales of adventure. This marks Jónsson's third poetry collection, following his previous works Bands from Nowhere (I & II) and Walking On Liquid Earth.

The event will include a cinematic flair, as Jónsson will perform his poetry alongside original film works inspired by early 20th-century surrealist and abstract art. 🎥✨ Before the book launch, immerse yourself in an ambient media installation featuring visual music, silent film, and expanded cinema creations by the author.

The evening will culminate with an intermedia performance where excerpts from the book are interwoven into a live collaborative performance featuring guest improvisers, theatre, and improvised mixed media.
