Join us at the Museum of Contemporary Art Skopje for a unique journey into Japan's built environment through the travelling exhibition “Built Environment: An Alternative Guide to Japan.”

🖼️ Discover 80 remarkable examples of buildings, civil engineering projects, and landscapes from every prefecture in Japan, presented through stunning photographs, insightful texts, and captivating video materials.

📌 This exhibition sheds light on a less-explored aspect of Japan, focusing on how its geographic diversity and natural disasters have influenced the built environment. Explore how the Japanese people have confronted and adapted to their natural surroundings, creating and preserving local identity in the process.
