About the Artists:
Chet Baker (1928-1988) captivated the world with his smooth tones and charisma, rising to fame in the early 50s with the Mulligan/Baker Quartet. He's known for collaborations with giants like Stan Getz, Jim Hall, and even Elvis Costello.
Bill Evans (1929-1980) redefined jazz piano, earning acclaim for his work on Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue and forming groundbreaking trios with legends such as Scott La Faro and Eddie Gomez. His influence stretches across generations, shaping artists like Keith Jarrett and Brad Mehldau.
