Join us for the Clear the Shelter adoption event at the Henrico County Police Animal Shelter! 🐶🐱🐰

During August, organizations nationwide participate in the initiative to find loving homes for pets. This year, our shelter is collaborating with community partners to help dogs, cats, and rabbits find their forever families. 🏡❤️

Thanks to the Henrico Humane Society, Furbish Thrift, and the William A. Harrison Jr. Foundation, many pets will be up to date on vaccinations and spay/neuter procedures, making them ready for adoption!

🔍 Interested in Adopting?

• Must be 18 or older
• Bring a valid photo ID
• Pay an adoption fee (varies by shelter and spay/neuter status)
  Adopters do NOT need to be local residents to adopt.
