Coalition Build Day for Habitat for Humanity

Join us for a day of community and construction! 🛠️ The Johnson County Affordable Housing Coalition invites you to partner with us on a build day for Habitat for Humanity in Iowa City. No previous building experience is necessary!

Event Highlights:

• Date & Time: Thursday, July 30th, 1 PM - 5 PM
• Location: 1546 Prairie du Chien Rd, Iowa City, IA 52245-5616, United States

When you arrive, Habitat staff will provide a brief orientation on site and skills, get you geared up, and introduce you to the building tasks.

Build Site Expectations:

• Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
• Please wear closed-toe shoes for safety.
• Be prepared for the weather—dress appropriately! 🌦️
• Habitat will supply tools, but you are welcome to bring your own—just make sure to label them!
• Water, snacks, and sunscreen will be provided for all volunteers! ☀️🌊

Important Note:

Plan ahead for parking, as the closest parking is on Saint Anne's Drive, just a few blocks from the build site.
