Community History Day

Join us at the Harris-Jefferson Student Center to share and preserve YOUR Bluefield Black history! 🔍 In collaboration with Black in Appalachia and Bluefield State's William B. Robertson Library, we invite you to bring your personal photographs, documents, funeral programs, school materials, and church histories that illustrate Black life in our community.

We'll also be recording oral histories, so prepare to share your family's story! 📖 All materials will be returned to you the same day, along with a thumb drive of your items after processing.

✨ Food will be provided thanks to the AKA - Beta Lambda Omega Chapter.
