Constantly looking for another now - Dukkha, the core teachings of Buddhism

About the event

✨ Join us for an enlightening weekend exploring the profound concept of dukkha, the intrinsic dissatisfaction that colors our experiences. As highlighted by Chögyam Trungpa, our lives often feel incomplete, and we find ourselves in a perpetual quest for fulfillment. 🌱

The Buddha’s first teaching after his enlightenment was the truth of suffering, demonstrating that dukkha affects everyone, no matter their circumstances. In this session, you’ll learn how acknowledging suffering can lead to spiritual awakening and transformation. This isn’t about escaping pain but about changing our relationship with it through awareness and insight.

What to Expect:
🧘‍♀️ Practice shamatha meditation to connect with your mind’s inherent clarity and stability.
🌸 Examine habitual emotional patterns that lead to suffering, referred to as the “cocoon” in Shambhala teachings.
🤝 Engage in group discussions to explore how to transform these patterns into pathways for growth and liberation.

Teacher:
Adrienne Chang - A dedicated student of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and member of the Milinda program, Adrienne specializes in Buddhist philosophy and history.
Originally from the USA, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, currently residing in Luxembourg and France.
This program will be conducted in English and is open to everyone, with no prerequisites required.
