This unique event revisits the largest sports car racing spectacle on the East Coast in 1955, held on the runways of the Hagerstown Municipal Airport! With approximately 15,000 spectators and over 200 top drivers from across the country, this race marked a significant chapter in automotive history.

Discover how Hagerstown's hotels were fully booked and local garages swarmed with mechanics tending to exotic sports cars like Ferraris, Jaguars, and Maseratis. Notably, one driver, Phil Hill, went on to claim the title of America’s first Formula One Champion in 1961! 🥇✨

Bill Stoler, a noted motorsports photographer with ties to the vintage racing community, will share exclusive insights gathered through interviews, photos, and race reports, including highlights from a recent 70th anniversary celebration at the Hagerstown Aviation Museum. 📸
