Join us for Doc Talk, a captivating presentation series on documentary filmmaking hosted by KHOI Community Radio in collaboration with the Ames Regional Economic Alliance and the Ames Documentary Film Festival! 🎥

On this exciting evening, Eric Smidt, a talented communications professional and documentary filmmaker from Ames, Iowa, will share insights into the art of documentary filmmaking. 🗣️ He will showcase clips from his impressive works, including To Memphis and Back (2022), Light Painter (2024), and Urban Mining (2026). Eric is also the festival director of the inaugural Ames Documentary Film Festival! 🌟
