Pier Pressure at the Wharf with Chesapeake DockDogs | Iron Dog in a Day!

Get ready for high-flying pups and big splashes! 🐕💦 DockDogs makes its debut at The Wharf, featuring an exciting triathlon-style competition. Watch talented dogs race the clock as they launch into the 40ft pool on District Pier, competing in long jump, vertical jump, and speed events.

Brought to you by Chesapeake DockDogs, this Iron Dog in a Day event is sure to be a SPLASH, right in the heart of Washington DC!

Schedule (Saturday, August 8, 2026):

• Practice – 9:00 am
• Speed Retrieve Competition – 10:30 am
• Big Air Wave #1 – 1:00 pm
• Big Air Wave #2 – 2:00 pm
• Extreme Vertical Competition – 3:30 pm
• Awards Presentation – 6:00 pm

Pre-Registration Entry Fees:
Adult: $39.00/team per event (Big Air, Speed Retrieve, Extreme Vertical, Iron Dog)
Youth: $19.00/team per Big Air; $38.00/team per Speed Retrieve, Extreme Vertical, Iron Dog
