Double role group at Summer Tango Camp 2026 / Kahden roolin ryhmä Kesäleirillä 2026

Welcome to a unique Double Role Workshop as part of the Amigos del Tango association's Summer Tango Camp! 🎉 Join us from August 7th to 9th at the beautiful Solvalla Sports Institute in Espoo, Finland, and immerse yourself in a weekend of tango, friendship, and nature! 🌿☀️🌊

This workshop is designed for dancers eager to explore both leading and following roles in Argentine tango. Whether you have more experience in one role or are a seasoned dancer, everyone is welcome to share their knowledge and grow together! 🌼

The workshops will be led by the talented 💚 Malin Backström from Stockholm, Sweden, with assistance from 💚 Saana Kalliokoski from Tampere, Finland. Classes will be conducted in English and focus on enhancing musicality and couple dynamics across tango, vals, and milonga. We’ll concentrate on how to dance, utilizing steps participants are already familiar with, ensuring a focus on technique and quality.

🌼 Workshop Details:

• 1 x 60-minute workshop on Friday
• 4 x 75-minute workshops on Saturday and Sunday
• No partner required; roles will be actively changed during classes.
• Enjoy 4 milongas, 2 practicas, relaxing sauna sessions by Lake Pitkäjärvi, and morning stretching.

Passes Available:

• FULL PASS: Includes all activities, accommodation, and meals. 📅
• CAMP PASS: Includes all activities except accommodation and breakfasts.

Early bird prices available until the end of May! 🎟️ Registration closes on July 24th.

Location: Solvalla Sports Institute, next to Lake Pitkäjärvi and Nuuksio National Park. Easily accessible by public transport or car with ample free parking.

Important:

• Finnish residents must be members of Amigos del Tango to participate; membership is €25 annually. For residents abroad, membership is not required.
