About the event

Martinez is turning 150 — and we’re throwing a birthday celebration for the history books! 🎉

Join Downtown Martinez & Co. for the Annual Downtown Martinez 4th of July Parade, proudly presented by Martinez Refining Company, as we commemorate notable milestones:

Martinez’s Sesquicentennial — 150 Years
Downtown Martinez & Co.’s 25th Anniversary
America’s 250th Anniversary Celebration

This year’s parade theme — “Past, Present & Future” — honors the rich traditions and community spirit that have shaped Martinez while looking ahead to the future of our beloved hometown. 🎺

  • Parade Starts at: 10 AM
  • Route: From Court St. & Main St. to Alhambra Ave. & Main St.
  • 🇺🇸 Flag Raising Ceremony at Veteran’s Memorial Building (time TBA)

Expect a day filled with festive floats, classic cars, community groups, local businesses, performers, and lively music, promising patriotic fun and unforgettable family traditions all along Main Street! 💥

🌟 Want to join the parade?
We invite businesses, nonprofits, schools, car clubs, neighborhoods, and community groups to create a float or entry celebrating “Past, Present & Future.”

🙌 Want to help behind the scenes?
We’re looking for volunteers for staging, barricades, marshals, setup, and more to help make this cherished tradition happen.

🎆 Lots of family fun, patriotic spirit, and community celebration are planned, so mark your calendars now!
