🌈 Introduction

Calling all aspiring young performers in Duisburg! The International British Theatre School, in collaboration with St. George’s School Düsseldorf Rhein-Ruhr, is thrilled to offer our Summer Vocational Short Courses.
We've recognized a gap in professional arts education: young performers often need to travel to London for quality training, or lack essential industry knowledge. We aim to change that by bringing seasoned British professionals right to your doorstep, focusing on Vocational Preparation tailored to your child's age and experience.

🎓 Choose Your Track

• Junior Track: Acting & Performance Technique (Ages: 6 - 12)

  • Overview: A Foundation Level introduction to professional stage work, building confidence and key social skills.
  • What You Will Achieve: Learn Scenography & Prop Design, enjoy daily Physical Conditioning, and engage in Ensemble Building. Each student will be cast in a specific role with lines to memorize.
  • The Finale: Concludes with a 25-minute Theatre Production for parents and a Certificate of Achievement.

• Senior Track: Acting, Audition Technique & Industry Showcase (Ages: 12 - 17)

  • Overview: A Pre-Professional Masterclass designed for those ready to take the next step towards professional representation.
  • What You Will Achieve: Master Audition Technique, learn Self-Taping, and attend seminars on the Business of Acting, including crafting an acting CV and selecting headshots.
  • The Finale: Ends with a Professional Showcase and Mock Agent Panel, complete with a Certificate of Pre-Professional Training.
