The Sun Ra Arkestra, founded in the mid-1950s by visionary artist Sun Ra, has been a pioneering force in the realms of synthesizer music and the free jazz movement. Known for their breathtaking live performances, the Arkestra blends big-band swing, space-age free jazz, and Afro-pageantry to create a unique musical experience.

Having recorded over 100 albums, their latest release, "Lights On A Satellite," came out in February 2025. With a Grammy-nominated album titled "Swirling," the Arkestra continues to push boundaries and defy musical limits.
