First Monday Blues Lab

Join us for the First Monday Blues Lab, an exciting opportunity for current students and invited guests to deepen their understanding of blues dancing! 🌟✨

What's in Store?

• Learn & Practice: We start with a lesson from 7:30 PM to 8:15 PM, followed by open practice till 10:00 PM! This is your chance to apply what you’ve learned and explore new concepts with different partners. 🤝🔥
• Music: Enjoy pure blues and genres that complement it, like New Orleans jazz and blues-gospel, creating the perfect atmosphere for connecting and dancing! 🎷🎤

Preparation:

• Please arrive on time so we can make the most of our practice.
• Donation of $5 or bring potluck snacks/beverages to share. 🍽️🥤
• Remember to wear CLEAN dance shoes or non-marking shoes. Feel free to dance in socks, lyrical sandals, or even barefoot! 👟🧦

Guidelines for a Great Experience:

• Communicate with your partner about what you’re working on to enhance the learning experience.
• Respect the feedback process; only one person should receive critiques at a time. Constructive feedback is encouraged! 🗣️✨
• Maintain a positive and respectful environment.
