Forest Care Days

Join us for Nuestros Bosques Forest Care Days, a series of community volunteer events focused on nurturing our neighborhood trees and green spaces in Providence! 🌿

Throughout the season, we will team up to care for our urban forest across the 02909 and 02908 areas. These gatherings aim to unite neighbors as we tend to the trees that provide shade, cool our neighborhoods, and strengthen our communities.

Volunteer tasks will vary by location but may include:

• Removing invasive plants 🌼
• Picking up litter 🗑️
• Watering young trees 💧
• Spreading mulch 🌱
• Maintaining areas where our trees thrive 🌳

These events are family-friendly, offering activities for children and opportunities for all to participate. We believe that Nuestros Bosques Forest Care Days are about more than just tree care; they are a chance to build community—working hard, sharing food, and celebrating together! 🎉

Event Details:

• Free and bilingual (Spanish and English)!
• Food will be provided 🍽️
• All tools and supplies will be available 🛠️
• Please dress for outdoor work (comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes) and bring water to stay cool!
