A proper morning in the mountains. We'll head out from Cercedilla into the Valle de la Fuenfría, following the Sendero del Agua through pine forest to the Ducha de los Alemanes — a natural cascade tucked into the Sierra de Guadarrama — before looping back through Las Dehesas. Cool shade, mountain air, and one of the most beautiful corners reachable from Madrid by train. 🌲
🥾 Who's invited? Adult women (18+). 🚫 Who's not? Husbands, boyfriends, kids, and dogs. We promise they will survive without you for the day ;)

Getting there: Cercanías C8b from Madrid Recoletos at 7:59am, arriving Cercedilla at 9:17am. Please be at Recoletos station by 7:45am and check the screens for the platform.
Logistics: Group size: Capped at 15, please sign up.
Meeting option 1: At Madrid Recoletos station, platform by 7:45am.
Meeting option 2: At Cercedilla station once the 7:59am train arrives at 9:17am.
Return: We'll take the C8b from Cercedilla at 15:31, arriving back at Recoletos at 16:48.
The day before the hike a what's app group will be opened to communicate efficiently.
What to bring: Sturdy hiking shoes or trail runners — this one has some elevation. Packed lunch and snacks. At least 2L of water (there are natural fountains along the route but bring enough to start). Sunscreen and cap.
Cost: Free. You only pay your train fare to Cercedilla. Zone B1 ticket — check your transport card or the Renfe app.
