About the event

The event will be held in English.
Registration is free; donations are optional.
A private NYC gathering for founders and investors on AI, robotics, and building companies that operate in the real world, in a conversation with a two-time Emmy Award winner and the Co-Founder & CEO at XTEND.
Join us in NYC for a special evening bringing together founders and investors for an intimate conversation with Aviv Shapira, Co-Founder and CEO of XTEND. Aviv leads XTEND, an AI-powered autonomy company building XOS, an operating system for robotics that enables human-guided autonomous operations across aerial, ground, and maritime systems. XTEND’s mission is to build autonomous systems that operate with human intent, extend human capability, and help make the world safer.

At the center of the evening will be a talk by Aviv on the intersection of AI and robotics to make the world safer. He will share how robotics is moving beyond direct human control toward practical autonomy, where systems can execute in real time, adapt to dynamic environments, and remain aligned with human intent. Drawing on real-world deployments, Aviv will speak about what it takes to build and scale deep-tech systems that work outside the lab, in complex, mission-critical environments.
Aviv is an aerospace engineer by training and a repeat entrepreneur. Before XTEND, he built and sold a company to Intel that became the foundation for Intel Sports, and he has received two Emmy Awards for technological innovation. XTEND is his fourth startup.

Gil Savir

Gil Savir is a partner in the Corporate Department at Paul Hastings, based in the firm’s New York office, where he serves as a trusted advisor to leading U.S. and Israeli companies, entrepreneurs, investors and financial institutions navigating the U.S. market. Gil advises clients across the full lifecycle of corporate growth — from early-stage financings through IPOs, business combinations, cross-border M&A, public company reporting and corporate governance.

Gil has developed particular strength in the Aerospace & Defense sector, a rapidly expanding area of Israeli and U.S. innovation on the global stage. His recent representations include advising XTEND on its $1.5 billion business combination with JFB, Precision Aerospace & Defense Group on its $320 million business combination, TAT Technologies on its initial U.S. underwritten public offering, and Renatus Tactical Acquisition Corp I on its $210 million IPO.

A bridge between the Israeli tech ecosystem and U.S. capital markets, Gil counsels clients ranging from emerging startups to globally recognized public companies across deep-tech, cybersecurity, fintech and defense.
The session will include a moderated fireside chat and time for networking among founders, investors, and senior operators from the NYC tech ecosystem. The goal is to create a high-quality room for thoughtful discussion, fresh connections, and candid conversation around AI, robotics, company building, and global markets. The attached speaker brief also notes that the session is intended to include a more candid discussion on building deep-tech companies, deployment challenges, and scaling globally.
Who should attend
