Join the Reel Philosophers for another exciting event, this time featuring selected scenes from Andrew Niccol’s 1997 film Gattaca, using its vision of genetic selection to start us off on a discussion about the promises and risks of human enhancement.
We’ll screen only film clips, leaving plenty of room for reflections between them.
Inspired by ancient Greek symposia, Reel Philosophers nights help sharpen critical thinking through film discussions, gently guided by professional philosophers.
