Founded in 1856 as the Plymouth Drawing School, Arts University Plymouth has evolved over an impressive 170 years. From its origins to various name changes, including Plymouth College of Art, this renowned institution has consistently delivered practice-led creative education.

In celebration of its milestone anniversary, ‘In the Making’ showcases stories of learning, creating, and belonging through generations. This exhibition highlights the power of archives and embraces the expression of how art and design shape and question our world.

Featuring a curated selection of works from The Box’s art collection, created by former students and teachers, this exhibition is a must-see for anyone passionate about the artistic journey!
