Join us at one of Tennessee's most historic sites as we celebrate America's 250th birthday! 🥳 Step back in time to Fort Watauga in 1776, where you can experience the excitement of independence arriving on the colonial frontier.

👤 Historical Characters: Meet early settlers and hear their reactions to the Declaration of Independence.

🔍 Explore Living History: Enjoy a variety of demonstrations and presentations throughout the day:

  • 10:00 AM: Morning Assembly with the Washington Co. Militia.
  • 10:30 AM: Guided walk — Siege of Fort Watauga.
