Hailing from the Canadian prairies, Julianna is a power-pop-country-rock explosion! After spending some great years with Daniel Romano's Outfit, she embarked on a solo journey, releasing her debut album "All Blue" in 2022, infused with American vibes. Her follow-up album, "Echo in the Dust," (out October 24, 2025 on her own MoonWhistle Records) continues to explore alt-country influences, inspired by legends like Roy Orbison, The Roches, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and even John Lennon's heartwarming song Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy). Plus, she draws inspiration from the unique sounds of the doom metal band Om. 🎤🎸

On Echo in the Dust, Riolino considers her own growth and creative awakening, working through loss, grief, and past decisions. The album is more rocking than All Blue—"It's kind of punk, it's rock n' roll, it's still kind of country. It's an amalgamation of everything going on in my mind." Recorded in 2024 at Gold Standard Recorders in Toronto with collaborators including Matthew "Roddy" Kuester (bass/guitar), Peter Landi (drums), Thomas Hammerton (piano/synth), and producer Aaron Goldstein (pedal steel), the album also features contributions from Alex Edkins (Weird Nightmare, Metz) on guitar for "Full Moon", "Like a Rembrandt", and "The Less I Know", and Nashville's Sean Thompson on guitar for "On A Bluebird's Wing".

Riolino needed to unravel before she could clarify who she is now and who she'll be next, and the result is Echo In the Dust, a beautiful sonic result of what it's like to stay out of one's own way.
