Join Climate Cafe South Brooklyn for our June Climate Cafe in partnership with Force of Nature on Sunday, June 28, from 2:00-4:00 PM at Marine Park Coffee, 3411 Avenue S.
We’re excited to celebrate one year of Climate Cafe South Brooklyn and return to Marine Park Coffee, where our first café was held last summer.
The Climate Cafe will run from 2:00-3:00 PM, creating a welcoming space to reflect on climate emotions, share thoughts, and connect with others in a supportive, non-debate environment.
From 3:00-4:00 PM, we’ll welcome special guest speaker Wing Kong, an environmental artist, nature photographer, and sustainability educator. Wing’s work explores the connection between people, nature, and the environment, often using discarded and unconventional materials to create art that encourages people to think differently about waste, wildlife, and sustainability.
Free and open to all ages for southern Brooklyn residents and beyond. Free hot coffee and tea will be available, with priority given to those who RSVP.
