June Club Meeting: How to Build a State Park.

June Club Meeting: How to Build a State Park.

About the event

Join us for an enlightening evening at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden! 🌷 On June 17, 2026, at 7:00 PM, we have the pleasure of welcoming Kate Fisher from Palo Pinto Mountains State Park. She will share insights into the intricate process of creating a park from the ground up, focusing on the conservation efforts that guide the development as well as the facilities and recreational opportunities available to the public.

🍽️ Refreshments: We invite attendees to bring a treat to share—whether it’s a delicious appetizer or a tempting dessert! 🍰 Think cookies, bars, or cakes, and don’t forget to bring a non-alcoholic drink of your choice. We recommend arriving early between 6:40-6:45 PM to enjoy the food before the meeting starts.

🌍 Everyone is welcome—come join us in celebrating our natural spaces and learning more about park development!
