Khadijah Masjid Counselling Program 🕌 Launch Event! Islam, Mental Health, and Resilience in Today's World
🕌 Launch Event: Khadijah Masjid Counselling Program
Featuring a Community Workshop on Islam, Mental Health, and Resilience in Today's World
Delivered by Brother Antar Teleba, Registered Psychotherapist (RP)
Join us for the launch of the Khadijah Masjid Counselling Program, powered by Ruh Care, a Muslim mental health platform offering Islamically aligned, culturally responsive, and accessible care through licensed Muslim therapists.
This initiative aims to make compassionate mental health support more accessible to the Montreal Muslim community through secure online counselling. Whether you're seeking support as an individual, couple, family, or youth, the program provides a trusted space to access professional care rooted in both clinical excellence and an understanding of Islamic values.
During the evening, learn about the vision behind the counselling program, the available services, and how to access care. This inaugural session marks the beginning of ongoing community education, featuring a special workshop on Islam, Mental Health, and Resilience in Today's World.
🕊️ Workshop Discussion:
Mental health is integral to our overall wellbeing, yet often misunderstood or difficult to discuss. Join us to explore what Islam teaches about mental health, challenge common stigmas, and encourage open conversations about seeking support. Together, we will reflect on how faith strengthens resilience during challenges, including the emotional impacts of Islamophobia and discrimination. We'll also discuss how individuals and leaders can promote mental wellbeing and foster compassionate communities.
