La Phaze - Live DJ set at Otherside

La Phaze is a French band from Angers, founded in 1999 by Damny Baluteau (keyboards, electronic programming, vocals) and Arnaud Fournier (guitar, brass instruments, backing vocals). They quickly developed a distinctive sound defined as a combination of punk rock and jungle, which they called pungle: a unique musical identity blending dub, ragga, hip-hop, and drum & bass influences.

In addition to their live performances, La Phaze occasionally appears in a DJ set format, highlighting the diverse influences that shape their sound—from reggae and punk rock to drum & bass. These sets feature remixes, alternative versions, and rare edits of the band's tracks, offering audiences a different perspective on their musical universe.
