In this engaging workshop, you'll learn the traditional lead-came method of stained glass assembly, commonly used in large installations such as churches. Discover the nuances of this technique, including:
- Separating each piece of glass with lead came
- Assembling the panel piece by piece from corner to corner
- Soldering joints where lead meets lead
- Finishing with cement under the lead edges
This workshop is perfect for those who enjoy stained glass as a hobby and wish to further explore this age-old method. Dan will provide several patterns and a variety of glass to choose from, or you can create your own design with Dan's approval before the class. He'll guide you through the entire assembly process!
