Linda May Han Oh, born in Malaysia and raised in Western Australia, is a renowned bassist and composer now based in New York City. Having graduated with first-class honors from the W.A Academy of Performing Arts, she has been recognized with numerous accolades including the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer’s award and an honorary mention at the prestigious Thelonious Monk Bass Competition. Linda has shared the stage with many jazz legends and is an active participant in the jazz community, teaching at the Manhattan School of Music.
