About the event

Join us for the first gathering of Longevity for the People, a health workshop and action series designed for busy adults who want to take better care of their long term health without adding more noise to their lives.
This gathering will focus on what a longevity mindset is and why we need to stay proactive despite "feeling fine."
Managing illness has its place in our medical system, but what if we caught things earlier, before they progressed enough to feel bad?
I want to teach you how to do that, on a personal level, with and without technology, as we set the stage for future sessions on:
heart health
brain health
cancer prevention + screening
metabolism & weight management
emotions & stress
navigating your healthcare visits with more clarity and confidence
This is not a lecture. Expect an interactive conversation about what actually moves the needle. We'll get to know each other in short breakout sessions, and have some fun testing our functional age and Longevity IQ.
Whether you are trying to stay sharp, avoid burnout, or build a stronger foundation for the years ahead, this conversation series is a chance to approach health in a way that feels realistic, empowering, and worth your time.
Because health is personal.
Health is communal.
Health is true wealth.
*This free event series is hosted by Dr. Barry Breaux, a quadruple board-certified physician from Oakland. He focuses on preventive and proactive care. You can learn more about his practice and background at Breaux Medical.
