Lucie Hlavinková – #potkejautora

Lucie Hlavinková comes from Brno. She studied history and religious studies at Masaryk University's Faculty of Arts. In 2010, she completed her doctoral studies in religious studies there. She is the author of children's books and historical novels for adults. She has won several literary competitions, received an award from the Union of Czech Publishers and Booksellers, the Albatros Literary Prize in 2016, and also collaborates with Czech Radio. She is the patron of the South Moravia Reads event, a project to promote children's reading, and has also participated in the South Moravian Region Emergency Services project. She also contributes her stories to various charity anthologies. The proceeds from their sale then help disadvantaged children or animals.
