Macquarie Fields Weekly Walk 8AM (Friday)

Join us for a delightful weekly dog walk every Friday at 8 AM at the Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre! 🐶✨

Event Highlights:

• Leader: Sharon (Look for the yellow fluoro vest!)
• Meeting Spot: Carpark near the Swimming Pool and Tennis Courts
• Parking: Ample parking available 🚗
• Difficulty: Moderate due to some inclines ⛰️
  • Choose between a 1.1 km long loop or a 500 m shorter loop 🚶‍♂️
• Pace: A variety of speeds! Some stroll while others walk faster, with photo stops after the first lap 📸
• Accessibility: Toilets and a bin on-site. Wide path suitable for prams, wheelchairs, and walkers!

Facilities:

• Toilets, bins, and water available 💧

Important Notes:

• All dogs are welcome, but please remember:
  • No retractable leads—keep your dog on a secure leash.
  • Treats should be kept for your own dog only to avoid any issues with others.
  • Follow the Triple AAA guideline when greeting new dogs:
    • Ask if you can meet a new dog.
    • Act based on their response; respect their space.
    • Achieve a safe and fun interaction!
