Explore the unique aspects of our state constitution, such as property-ownership qualifications for citizenship, the separation of church and state, and the right of free Black men to vote. We'll also discuss the anxieties surrounding European control of the Mississippi River and the audacious founding of Tennessee without Congressional approval, known as “the Tennessee Plan.” 🤔🗳️
