Massive Coverage: How AI is Changing the Future of OffSec 🛡️🤖

Abstract:
Attackers have a powerful new tool with the recent release of Kimi K3 by Moonshot. This open-source model features 2.8 trillion parameters and benchmarks close to leading proprietary systems from OpenAI and Anthropic, all at a fraction of the cost and without cyber guardrails. The time-to-exploit is about to drastically decrease, compelling defenders to adapt swiftly.

Currently, most companies assess their attack surface merely once or twice a year, while code deployment occurs daily and assets spontaneously spin up. By the time pentest reports arrive, they can already be obsolete.

Autonomous AI agents provide a solution to this dilemma. These agents continuously discover assets, validate real exploits rather than just flagging noise, and even propose fixes as pull requests for engineering teams.

This talk will explore effective applications of AI-driven offensive security, address existing challenges (like false positives and severity judgment), and highlight how software is increasingly capable of securing itself. Joining Brandon Veiseh, leaders from NetSPI, ProjectDiscovery, Anthropic, and OpenAI will delve into the future of security—building autonomous pentesting agents.

Speaker Bio:
Brandon Veiseh is the Co-founder and CEO of MindFort, a Y Combinator-backed firm creating fully autonomous AI security agents that identify, validate, and patch vulnerabilities in web applications.
