Meeting Centres Dementia Community Workshop

Join us for an informative workshop in collaboration with Meeting Centres Scotland! We aim to establish a Meeting Centre, a community-driven initiative designed to support individuals with mild to moderate dementia and their family caregivers.

Across the Netherlands, over 140 Meeting Centres have shown remarkable benefits for those living with dementia, such as:

• 🧘‍♂️ Reducing behavioral and psychological issues
• 🏠 Delaying the need for residential care
• 🌈 Lower stress levels and increased confidence for caregivers

Research from pilot sites in the UK also highlights positive feedback, showcasing the potential of this initiative to enhance the well-being of people with dementia and their families within our local community.
