Milwaukie Repair Fair at the Milwaukie Sustainability Fair

🌍 Join us for a FREE community repair event where awesome volunteers will help you troubleshoot and potentially fix your household items! It’s a great opportunity to learn about repair, save some money, and keep more items from ending up in the trash.

This event takes place outside, in the same area as the Milwaukie Sunday Farmer's Market! 🥕

What Can I Bring to Be Repaired? 🤔

• Clean clothes and textiles
• Small electronics
• Small home appliances
  Note: Some repairs may not be available at every event. To confirm if your item can be repaired, please email sustainability@clackamas.us with a description of your item. This page is not always monitored!

How Many Broken Items Can I Bring? 📦

To minimize wait times, one broken item per person will be examined at a time. After each item has been reviewed or repaired, you must return to the registration table to connect with another volunteer fixer. If your repair takes longer than 30 minutes, you may need to postpone it.

What’s NOT Accepted? 🚫

• Items too large/heavy for one person to carry
• Microwaves
• Printers, DVD players, VCRs, TVs
• Computers, laptops, tablets, cellphones
• Large appliances
• Appliances with coolant, gasoline, or other hazardous waste
• Unwashed clothing

What to Expect: 👥

Upon arrival, please sign in at the front desk and fill out a liability waiver. Your item may be placed on a holding table where fixers will assess it for the likelihood of a successful repair based on their unique skills. This means some items might be seen slightly out of order. Depending on the number of attendees, you may need to wait with your item. If you leave the vicinity, your item will be skipped.

While we can’t guarantee you’ll leave with a fully functional item, we promise to do our very best!
