Speaker Bio

Simon Ritter, Deputy CTO of Azul Systems, has a rich history in Java development and consultancy since joining Sun Microsystems in 1996. He has been sharing his expertise on Java technologies since 1999, focusing on the core Java platform and embedded applications. At Azul Systems, Simon continues to educate others about Java and Azul’s JVM products, representing Azul on the JCP Executive Committee and JSR Expert Groups for Java SE 9 and beyond.
