Paweł, a local cultural and food tour guide in Kraków since 2007, has a passion for Polish cinema that blossomed in 2015. After realizing the educational value of films in discussing Polish history, he began screening important movies to various communities, including Couchsurfing enthusiasts.
His journey took him through the Academy of Polish Films and numerous lectures, fueling his passion for Polish cinema. From screening low-budget productions to hosting engaging discussions, Paweł's events are filled with valuable insights.
Each screening features an introduction from Paweł or his friends, sometimes accompanied by rare interviews with directors, all materials complete with English subtitles. Occasionally, screenings are tied with museum tours or city explorations when relevant.
