Native Garden Workday: Planting long-lived trees and shrubs

Join us for our monthly native workday, where you can enhance your gardening skills while engaging in hands-on activities! This month, we will explore the fascinating "root boxing" method for successful tree planting, among other techniques. 🌳✨

What to Expect:

• Learn: Discover how to inspect trees before purchasing, avoid common planting mistakes, and ensure your tree thrives!
• Dress Code: Prepare for outdoor work! Check the weather forecast and wear clothes that can get dirty. Closed-toed shoes are a must, and layering is advisable for cooler days.
• Essentials: Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. While we provide gloves and tools, feel free to bring your own if you prefer!
• Weather Plans: If it rains, we may need to postpone or cancel. Stay updated through your email, or call Meadow City at 216-282-6911. We usually work regardless of the temperature!
• Parking: There is ample parking available across from the nursery; just follow the signs! 🚗
